the first thing the anti-fun faction of "serious programmer's" will complain about chrome is the language slang in the application;

well, os x leopard is by definition 64-bit. but actually, i don't think the core duo processors support it (although there have been spread some rumours about hidden 64-bit capabilites.)

nevertheless, 4 gigs are officially supported although some sources claim that the system could handle only 3 gigs maximum.

tell me do you miss me?

by accident i stumbled across liz phair's review of the book "black postcards" by dean wareham of galaxie 500 and luna fame.

the book is great, an intriguing journey across planet indie music with all its ups and downs, written unboastfully and straighforwardly but it never lets you down.

thus, i got to know the music of those two bands at last – although i already knew galaxie 500 existed as that legendary indie act that got mentioned for years in german music magazine spex, and even my girl-friend at the time got "on fire" in her compact vinyl collection – i did not know their music.

how could i have missed those beautiful sounds?

(well, obviously due to too much reading about music instead of listening, and more interest in the girl than in her record collection.)

but it's never to late and the next stop will be "tell me do you miss me", the documentary of the final luna tour.

and of course i now bought liz phair's reissue of "exile from guyville" which i only had on a tape the wonderful miss jones gave to me, and that was running heavy rotation in my walkman beginning of the 9ties.

oh boy, how those memories can't wait.
