rss goes tv.

for those who fancy custom representations, there's also an (yet unofficial) javascript file containing the data as extracted from the rss feed only.

an example application of this (which – tragically hip – just achieves more or less the same as what the first link is showing) is manifested in another piece of code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://static.orf.at/at.orf.Banner/at.orf.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://rss.orf.at/at.orf.RssBox.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://rss.orf.at/orf1.dat.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
var box = new at.orf.RssBox("orf1");
box.maxItems = 7;
box.compactView = false;
box.render();
//--></script>

the output of this is shown in the comments. (yes, you certainly can apply sorting as well as css classes to this, too.)

btw. the interesting twist in the rssbox.js file is that it tries to adapt helma rendering methods onto client-side javascript. well, very basic, but at least one could get the idea: script once, run twice.

update: for the sake of completeness, all orf.at rss feeds can be found via rss.orf.atp3k bullet
