Bringing back "splendour" to web typography. "The use of typewriter-style quotation marks instead of typographic ones should always be seen as a mistake." --\ James\ Felici. Typolisher replaces ugly symbols (originally, used for foot and inch, or minute and second marks) abused as \'single\' and \"double\" quotes with their beautiful typographic counterparts. "You will love it!" Furthermore, Typolisher also cares about hyphens abused as en-dashes - no more thinking about it! And if you want to be sure: Just use two consecutive hypens -- Typolisher will do the rest for you. Of course, Typolisher supports em-dashes, too---putting your thoughts just where they belong. And that's not all: Typolisher even knows how to tell apart abused single quotes from abused apostrophes. 'Ain't that amazing...' (Please note the ellipsis.) Typolisher is fully written in JavaScript (aka EcmaScript) and heavily inspired by SmartyPants (or was it Textile?) - although being coded with a pretty different approach. JQuery is totally cool and that's why I use it here. Nevertheless, Typolisher happily runs without it.
