six three degrees: i know hannes who knows claudia klinger who reads salbader. i do not know mrs klinger but i do know salbader (not to say: i like it).
hannes is back from prag / berlin and he took some photos, too. i become more and more confident that i finally will visit prague once as well...
shit, i cannot stand it anymore and have to reveal my <a href=p3k.org">rss box secret... the promised details will follow. tomorrow or the day after. someday. yeah, yeah... (sigh!)

crazy daisy! what have i done? find box, vanilla smudge, glue clues all no more!?
well, a lot has happened in the last two days: i switched my blogger template from html to xml (similarly to the way paul bausch describes in this blogger how-to) .
a necessary move and one i wanted to do for quite a while (since blogger was becoming moody). because now my blog data is open for any tool that can handle xml data (e.g. hop).
the work (which is kind of experimental very experimental) is not done completely, yet. however, the coarse mechanics seem to work.
tomorrow i will describe some details, for the records. and the tools mentioned above will be there again in a while, hopefully.
radio, radio... where do you go? i admit: i am doing a lot with radio userland, lately (am-i-handsome-or-not?).
in first place, because somebody needed advice about the right blogging tool. nevertheless, i am occupying myself with this application because intuitively i think that it really rocks. but it's still so unclear which way it, which way userland wants to go. messages of such complaints (which probably is a too negative term since these still contain a huge amount of credits and respect for userland's product) should be a reality check for dave winer and his peop's.
to be precise: i do not get if radio userland should work when i am disconnected from the net. my powerbook just does not get the radio server to start when offline. what is the purpose of the "offline" menu entry? i need the server to work if i want to edit my weblog when i am off the wire and on the train (or without dialing in when i am using a modem).
and i do not get why there are so many quirks well, just little ones, but they make it harder to get a total newbie to touch this radio. sometimes i feel as if i am the only one noticing those quirks (if any, there's hardly a constructive answer in the discussion forum or on the mailing list).
so the purpose of my handsome 'radio blog' actually is to provide some insights into ru from a not-so-newbie point of view (however, i am not a pro!). there, i try to ask the questions that confuse me and provide some answers that i made up or even better got from somewhere else. maybe it helps making at least one guy (in an androgynic sense) understanding and using it as a cool personal weblog tool.
