who needs a new advent calendar for this year, anyway? well, probably those who already know the gorgeous ones of the last three years handicrafted by sensomatic.
for 20 december 1999 i contributed a "4track beepbox", a tiny drum machine using apple's platinum sounds (but first you have to find the pieces for the big number "20" on the red empty area with your mouse pointer).
hooligans and flowers: "alina will probably be charged with hooliganism. alina lebedeva faces up to two years in prison if convicted". she still is not free.
elephäntville: sputnix 0.1b for mac os x audiogalaxy is back in the house. works fine for one download at a time.
interesting: audiogalaxy client protocol.

my, oh my. suse linux is pretty dumb. too dumb to correctly install php as additional apache module. instead they try to load ssl which is not available. they need yast3 or something else. however, who needs php anyway? well, still for some time i do. fortunately i was able to configure httpd.conf manually. but it took too much time. so i could not finish set-up and still need to run everything the old way (ie. winnt mode). darn.
sensomatic have a new and beautiful start page. super.now.extra.good.ok.hello.neu.

"wir sind gesund und du bist krank." freiwillige selbstkontrolle.

temporary sneak preview. i think it should be clear now, what i will do the next week-ends... expect the next outage, soon.
besides desired advantages for the blogger inside me, i hope that this can be useful for developing helma and her applications, too.
citydesk free download: "the free starter edition is not yet ready for download as of november 29, 2001. please check this page again in a few days". shake your head.
hannes did it: he announced helma, the famous object publisher which was just released as version 1.2pre2, at freshmeat!
tomorrow i will attend a talk about "weblog applications as communication structure". hey, the title already signals buzz attack!
two people will perform there of which one used to diss the host group (ie. volkstanz) as a pathetic dozen of party-people dancing against the austrian government before he turned away from political weblogs to organising events against his austrian loneliness. and the other one just does not like the word "weblog" at all, anymore. feels like full fun for me.
whew, is there somebody moping because he was not asked to speak in front of the audience?
