hey, i just checked in the files of the completely rewritten helma rss application!

currently, the app is using a user/membership management i have stolen from another app (sorry, i forgot which it was – but thanks to the creator, anyway :)

next steps:

1. defining an (xml-rpc?) interface to weblog tools (antville!) so that the disabled post buttons in the channel/news view make sense and take the user directly to his/her weblog story form containing the corresponding title, text and source link of the aggregated item (i think that will be pretty cool!).

2. integrating a javascript viewer as seen at publish.curry.com

3. more ideas?
