besides the ever-interesting topic of the infamous jakob nielsen, jorn barger's "web dossier" thang is another excellent idea for people maturing from weblogs. if it should ever come to another dispute on who coined the term this time, i prophylactically state that i wittnessed me jorn barger doing so.

someone (theo?) is demolishing metababy. is that why it says "metababy 2 will close on 10/19/2000. metababy 3 will open on 11/19/2000" on the index page?

kommdesign: "eine website typologie".

idleworm: "how to animate" (in two lessons).

a kewl and even weirder flash trip via nugob: shinji-san.

nugob makes beautiful projects: free and easy interfaces. i especially like admiral döner.

rolighed the party optimizer can "play all 9 cds in order or 'shuffle' them, change music if there is no movement on the dance floor, change music according to your hand motions, take a photo of the dance floor every few minutes". built with lego mindstorms.

another frances o'connor, a so-called "armless wonder". that weird typologic trauma of humankind.

lon chaney, "the man of a thousand faces" is mentioned on that page, too. morgan russell once compared my physiognomic capabilites to those of chaney. probably a little bit exaggerated...

does omphaloskepsis really mean "nabelschau"?

anima is a collection of chronophotographical projections, pre-cinema knowledge, optical toys, gif animations and more... an extensive history of the motion picture. a disportive pastime.

last saturday i was in the wonderful mansfield park (after a novel by jane austen). the right movie for a rainy week-end with gorgeous actors (frances o'connor, harold pinter, johnny lee miller), excellent dialogues, beautiful shots and a classic plot (yes, with happy-end). sigh.

oops, they did it again: weblogs.com redesigned...

the design has very changed, the words have augmented and i find myself in quite unusual company <g>: mark lycette's infotyte goes in its next round.

had a lot of fun with the continuation of a parody alex milsmann created already a long time ago about apple's "think different" campaign (incredible how inspiration spreads around the world): "think edim".
