in march, i linked to kristian idol's website. just today i received a message from him. he is the first "stranger" who sent back a thank-you for linking.

right now, kristian is working on a new movie called "question authority". everybody can watch the movie develop and even give their own suggestions for cast and soundtrack. and who knows, maybe it will become a huge box-office hit or a secret favorite at one of the next sundance festivals...

i just wanted to look after a recent thread about neo-nazism in germany compared to a far-right government in austria, but publog, the german answer to metafilter is down... it's a software's fault. publog is worth visiting from time to time and it makes my comment section almost obsolete (nothing to complain about).

thinking further: i very often post comments on other websites. i could reduce haboglabobloggin' to a short-commented collection of pointers to those postings. i already use hgb as a commented bookmark tool, anyway. and it could be some interesting tool when connecting the browser's history file to such a kind of weblog...

there is this skeptic thing going on at mr schockwellenreiter's weblog. it's quite fascinating, however most people would think of skeptics as some annoying smarty pants. but hey! they have a good sense of humor: chain letter anonymous should serve for those who fear both the bad karma if they would break the chain as well as the cruel reactions of bothered receipients of this waste of bandwith.

on monday it really happened that some web weavers came together in vienna: besides the three guys mentioned above there have been christine (sensomatic), verena (popo.at), stefan (rinner.st), sven (euroranch) and two times hannes (eigenheads and helma). special guest was suse who is still logging reality offline. but it's hard to achieve the beauty of her wild books full of memorabilia, anyway.

we should have taken pictures but we are lazy and unsealed epicures (maybe the next time).
