With around 200 other people in 2010 I backed a project called “Punk Mathematics” by Tom Henderson.
Part math book, part online event, Punk Mathematics is an introduction to mathematical thinking for people who question everything.
I almost forgot about it until three days ago I was informed about an update. Of course you only can read this if you are a project backer of any sort. But I can tell you – although Mr Henderson’s life is pretty harsh to him most of the time (the reason why there is no book, yet, I assume) – I already got more than expected just from his musings about the book and its ongoing process of realization.
