Last year I bought a package of ground Café do Ponto in a Carioca supermarket and it was the best coffee I had so far – made me (not a regular coffee drinker at all) drink a cup every morning and even happily looking forward to it when going to sleep.

My personal recommendation using VirtualBox: start your VM headlessly from the command-line and use a third-party viewer (for OS X e.g. CoRD).

Spares me quite some RAM and even the performance is slightly better.
