Because it was sooo beautiful to hear one of my favorite childhood records in Moonrise Kingdom again: here is the full length version of Benjamin Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.

I still get goosebumps when the piccolo flute begins with the fugue near the end of the piece – and of course when the brass section slowly plays the main theme one more time, finally.
