oops, there's a fundamental mistake in antville's rss feed code: lazily i have set the timezone to +01:00 by default (must have been winter in austria :)
obviously, that is why with parss many new stories look like they've been published one hour in the future.
a fix is just around the corner.
update: the problem is due to the arbitrary time zone formats defined in java, w3c and iso specifications. now i remember why i was that lazy...

twoday.net certainly provides the option to ping weblogs.com. twoday is a commercial service using antville and thus also includes this feature (ie. knallgrau did not disable it).

in its saturday issue ("album" part) the austrian newspaper “der standard” published a short story called "vom sinn des lebens" about a banker and a fisherman, with credits given to the internet (where this "fairy tale" should circulate at the moment), and a person called karin u. (who obviously has sent the story via e-mail).
what a pity that the story's plot is nothing but a cheap rip-off from heinrich böll's "anekdote zur senkung der arbeitsmoral".
