hey, i just did as robert told us on the antville-dev mailing-list and voilà! finally, i have the good old front page layout blogger-stylee again.
update: just one minor step is missing. i had to create an empty header.skin in the day prototype to prevent old-style sites from throwing a skin not found error.
update ii: ...and don't forget to include an additional <% day.skin name="header" %> macro in the "front page of a single day" skin (hardly to notice without a calendar).

dos-to-unix file conversion in bash (or sh) to get rid of the annoying ^M in dos files:
tr -d '\r' < original_filename > new_filename.
btw. most of the time these ^M characters are occuring in files that have been unzipped without the -a option.

hey, hey, this time i was there! it felt great!
tomte were surprisingly good (because everyone told me that they get so much hype in spex but actually, they really suck or so).
binder & krieglstein were great. finally, i got the shantel mix – live and streaming.
and certainly i now can claim that i spent a night with judith in one big tent, heheh.
(actually, i spent the night with the real beloved at a farm in the upper austrian mountains.)
a nice event to reconcile with my passed youth and to abandon my urge to go to music festivals (stage divers running for shelter in muddy tents have never been my cup of tea).
