The Snowden Legacy, part one: What’s changed, really?

Considering how our privacy issues have shifted in the past few years because of things like the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica scandal and other corporate mishandling and misuse of personal data, maybe it's true that concerns about government surveillance have ultimately taken a back-burner in Americans' collective memory.
