Moved my RSS feeds from Fraidycat to Newsboat, quite happy to see this working so well in the Terminal.

I would love to do something with RSS feeds again… I think Parss (written for Helma) was quite a solid RSS aggregator and I shouldn’t have abandoned it when Google was eating RSS (first by promoting Reader, then by burying it). But fetching, parsing and caching RSS feeds requires jumping through a lot of hoops, and I’d pretty much leave this up to an external tool like Newsboat. It maintains the feed data in a SQLite database, so I have some ideas of simply interfacing that from a Helma application. Just ideas, though, motivational energy is a whole other issue.
