"On the premise that any film with talking cats in it can't be all bad, Minoes turns out to be a cracking little film - knockabout, accessible and entertaining without being over the top. The pity is that it's unlikely to get a wider release or find its way into the Xmas TV schedules until it is remade (and ruined) by Hollywood."
