bse in europe – waiting for the first case in austria. waiting for the first bse symptoms at pork, sheep, chicken, horses, cats and dogs (humans get creutzfeld-jacob, huhuh). waiting for milk products being under suspect, too. waiting for chocolate (beef blood as color pigment) and many other sweets (gelatine made of beef bones) to be analyzed.

does it make anybody nervous that of all human body parts it is the brain that gets desastrously damaged by bse? is this the consequence of its ever-growing intellectual engagement to create, control and extinct, the debt of its saturnine ideas to be paid with its own existence? sell my soul but keep me rational – nevermore!

alternatives? artificial intelligence? might be too late then (any progress since 1941?)... genetic engineering? promising, at least another havoc... space, the final frontier? it is already 2001 and we're still stuck in the orbit...
