the trouble with xing et al. is: everyone's there (now, after stops at orkut, myspace and wherever, wandering from site to site like a nomad family joyously leaving their personal information traces in every database like footsteps on the moon; i guess that's what guru negroponte was talking about all the time in the last century), everyone i know.

and i can see that many (but not all) of them really sugarcoat their profiles and professions with amazing passion.

thus, how should i believe the unknown xing user to be more honest? network of trust, yeah right.
