in a viennese rag fair the artist oliver croy found a trash bag containing 387 modelling houses and a bunch of slides. these modellings were tinkered by peter fritz, an insurance officer, who created them more or less abiding by the real houses to be seen on the slides. since that somehow historic day, croy and his colleagues practise fritz-forschung (fritz research) and the modellings went from the shallow of dust to the olymp of architecture and provide a headstrong image of the 1950s and 60s in austria. until march 18, 2001, they are exhibited at the museum für volkskunde in vienna.
