what a fucked up day in the end... i was not allowed to vote in vienna although every citizen of the european union may vote in elections like those for the viennese council 2001.

another person i do not recognize at all was registered as inhabitant of my flat and to be eligible voter instead of me. who knows about the viennese record sections (no computers!) will not doubt that this can happen quite easily. but i admit, such things make me a little bit nervous in this potato print democracy called austria.

at least the results are alright. a little kick in the blue bum and its black hole. however, just very few people did vote at all... "rise of the civil society" – as if!

...and then i was totally busy until now so i could not go to a little come-together i was invited.

mark lycette is coming over from down under to europa (lille, that is) and i would like to meet him in france but i cannot.
