on tv: feindbilder – wie völker miteinander umgehen. behind this generic title it's all about austria and its relations to germany, belgium and france (each in a special issue). certainly, in the first part's discussion it's too much and too little about haider. and arrogance on both sides. germany and austria do not have very much in common at all.

in today's court-circuit programme on arte i recognized two animation shorties i have seen at the women's trick film festival here in vienna: "au premier dimanche d'août" and "the man with the beautiful eyes".
