i recommend tim berners-lee's "weaving the web" to all of those wanky politicians making efforts to regulate the net these days. i know, i know, they don't listen to microserfs like me...

however, it is great to read the story of the person who is referenced to as the inventor of the web. now i understand the difference between uri and url and why the web as it is today is incomplete from berners-lee's point of view (which i share).

how about a reconstruction of the www in the name of the uri? persistance rules ok!

btw: i am glad that women like nicola pellow played important roles in the evolution of the web.
