Besides many other fascinating Media Architecture projects presented at the Biennale 2012 in Århus, Martin Brynskov explains the visualization of the City Bug Report in the video “A city hall tower in new wrapping”.

This is quite interesting manyfold, as Open Data meets Media Architecture meets Political Intervention. And shows that it is hardly enough for governments to simply open-source their data or provide means for public participation.

Either the politicians take it seriously and get really involved or they counteract the good intentions by cutting public fundings, retain the participative feedback or tick the project off as one little artsy ornament in their political curriculum vitae.
