"l.a. without a map" could be worse – no matter if being there in real life or just regarding the movie. yo bro', that's cool. that's the sentence i took home with me. and vincent gallo, as part of an impressing cast, is really acting cool. nevertheless, the plot and mise-en-scène did not knock me off my feet. but maybe that's just because finnish movies speak with a different emotional tongue... and the longer i think about it, the movie seems to be quite a beautiful hommage to samuel fuller, johnny depp and especially matti pellonp&aumlä.
