i can't see why anyone in europe would want an american publication like this. first, in the european scheme of things salon is quite conservative. secondly, the quality of commentary in europe on political and social issues is so high i think salon would fail to compare.

auch wenn es eine schöne idee und ein nettes zusammentreffen sein mag: wer einladungen zu einer gesprächsrunde über netzkultur mit zitat aus der auflösungserklärung der roten armee fraktion (fr@ktion?) versieht, braucht mit mir nicht mehr rechnen. sowas ist plumper, lächerlicher schwachsinn und gehört in die mottenkiste der aufmerksamkeitsökonomie.

ich war aber sowieso den chemischen brüdern verpflichtet und habe mit der liebsten fein gezappelt. schweißtreibend und ganz groß, die big beats, die visuals bestechend schlicht und eindrucksvoll.

i am quite pessimistic. audiogalaxy was simply genious for any music lover in the internet.
and i assume the decision of the judges in favour of the riaa will serve as the test case for any peer-to-peer music exchange (which certainly is not the most truthful term).
