it's true, a search engine and html compatibility are needed really urgently. actually, the xml-rpc interface and categories (known as topics) are already there – in the latest version...
and certainly antville supports "multiblogs". btw. how about evaluating macro features as well?

me too, i cannot understand the stirring-up about the 2002 calendar of the bundespolizeidirektion graz. i think it is done very well and perfectly represents the weltanschauung of the austrian police: to handcuff and gag.
btw. a first adjucation of the austrian administrative senate considers the police officers’ measures who caused the death of marcus omofuma during his deportation from austria as illegal. 10 years of jail are impended if the officers will be convicted. but i fear we will see them acquitted, anyway.
and then i have seen ulrich seidl's hundstage. tough stuff. but in all that staging with lay-actors (which is no staging, then, and this way the movie avoids becoming too social-voyeuristic) there is that normalcy-beyond-any-norms, that sociotope-in-a-distance (at least from my point of view) with imaginations becoming real through their recognisable implications. i don't know these people, but i know that they are real, somewhere out there, i probably even crossed their way for a moment or two.
and as a reflection from that view angle into the looking glass i see all that aggression, submission and humiliation contained in a few moments of what is supposed to be a feeling of bliss. human bodies on their knees, repelling and yet determining, dominating as well as devoting, being a part of all our destinies. after rain come shine (or rather vice versa), after erase come rewind.
still there is a seidl and strohheim retrospective at the film museum until end of january. so hurry up!
already for two years and a 100 times a bunch of people have been reclaiming the streets against the most ridiculous austrian government so far. yesterday i joined the demonstration jubilée with 500 1500 3000 4000 people, at least for a short time. really amazing. and even more that henryk broder's article (the last link) suggests that he just found out about what's going on here anyway... now that's what i'd call a bright intellectual!

have to try out image-a-gogo tonight: "image-a-gogo takes a search string and passes it off to the almighty google's image search engine and retrieves all pages of the search results as html. It then parses the results and loads the thumbnails into memory and presents you with a simple interface to the data".

yes, my dear linux geeks, certainly you advantage the common linux dummy (like me) with all your knowledge about this beautiful idea of an operating system... as a matter of fact, by installing any commercial distribution of linux, one possibly commits oneself to evil (even without knowing, yet). i am curious (although not looking forward to) who will buy mandrake one day.
but still this won't stop me from running my own linux server!
