thanks to elephänt-kris, i can use my aeg snap 100 lofi-digicam with my ibook, too!
actually both, the snap 100 and digitaldream's l’éspion must be the same device just in different assembly. l’éspion is half the size of the snap 100 but nevertheless comes along with exactly the same imaging features and specs.
so i concluded that the macintosh driver for l’éspion probably would work with the snap 100, too. aeg does not provide any mac driver for their camera.
to my fortune, i was right: using the snap 100 works perfectly on a mac with the l’éspion driver. the photoshop plug-in does the job very well also in imageready. and even under mac os x the classic control panel recognizes the camera, jumps into the foreground and after a few clicks quickly downloads the images.
update: in the meantime digital dreams made a newer version available via download from their website.
