yesterday, i was at vienna’s “new” museumsquartier (actually i attended richard foreman’s theater play “now that communism is dead my life feels empty”). and i liked what i saw (both, the play and the future arts center).
the buildings at the museumsquartier appear like a tryptichon to me with the leopold museum on the left, the halls e+g in the middle and the museum of modern arts on the right. a gorgeous view, those two monolithic building blocks against the dawning sky, embracing the traditional viennese architecture…
