tafkatafkap (the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as prince) has seen the future and it will be. however, what about the magnitude of prince's trust in the net?

mr moustache has made it! embraced by the monorfpolist the struggle for commercial blogs moves to a crucial round. the song remains the same: excellent peat out of the net swamp.
internet seminars and conferences which one to go? webdeveloper? most of them sound very uninspiring. are there not any cool conventions this year where the bloggers meet again? or am i using the wrong ressources?
got a response from london about some more interesting events: the digital space programme (inlcuding a contest call for entries right now) +++ doors of perception (why did i not find them in any of the calendars? a hint about net orientation?) +++ virtual communities at least the cocktails are sponsored...
moockmarks: include pointers to high-end shockwave games, interfaces and animations e.g. wireframe studio. also good references to generic web development\ / graphic design ressources.
yesterday at a party the host visually garnished the club packed with people by discretely projecting the movie "thunderbirds" on one of the back walls. this is a wicked flick starring a bunch of baffling alive marionettes and impressing by an enormous love for details (not to mention the lot of special effects, however partly really cheap ones).
the movie (and many others with marionettes as well as with real actors and even with mixtures of both) was realized by the british couple sylvia and gerry anderson mid of the 1960's. the puppets give a strange feeling of discomfort to me, i guess that is because although their mimics are very realistic (lips and eyes are moving) they always forget to blink (what you should never do).
asked why she showed the movie (apart from her being in film business) the host answered that this was the first movie she could remember having seen as a child and being quite frightened of because of the eerie atmosphere.
