who needs a dvd capture application, anyway?
today i stumbled over the screencapture shell command and thus, learnt some quick lessons in applescript: dvdcapture (application/octet-stream, 1 KB)
(if you'd own a mac you could simply save the script as .scpt file into your ~/Library/Application Support/DVD player/Scripts directory.)

...and then you go to the coldcut gig at the inner court of the vienna town hall decorated with two dozens of small white round tables and a bunch of people, decent drinks (no beeronades or the like) and wurstsemmeln are offered at the bar, the stage is drenched with loads of electronic equipment (five laptops and possibly as much turn-tables).
almost at 23:30 sharp the band enters the stage and begins with the wonderful and melancholic "a whistle and a prayer": on the double video screen a sketch of a yellow rabbit plays the guitar and sings while bending its left ear from time to time.
