just in: job offer for "senior developer mobile community solutions". anyone?
legacy from y2k but still worth to hear: mp3 bootlegs* of speeches at the norman nielsen group's user experience world tour event in munich:
brenda laurel (26.4megs), bruce tognazzini (23.5megs) and don norman (8.58megs from pre-recorded video presentation).
more than two hours of uncompromising usability mumbo-jumbo!

the current release of rebol core does not run on the 10.2 version of os x. but there is a work-around.
setenv DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES /usr/lib/libtermcap.dylib
update: bad news, the work-around does not work at least with my installation...
update of the update: actually, it does work if you put it into the .cshrc file of your home directory (i've tried it with .login).

batch file command reference for windows 2000 (via fpschultze's batch bookmarks).

holy moly, what am i doing here?

i am not sure if i like mac os 10.2 better than 10.1. i think everything got slower again, e.g. the response of the mail app is just unreasonable. and everything is more bloated with features i hardly need.
well, blame it on the g3 processor of my 2001 ibook. soon it probably will be for os x what my old performa 475 now is for os 8...
even worse, many third party programs need to be reinstalled because they are incompatible with jaguar (e.g. the usb still camera driver for my l’éspion bastard). trouble is that often the update is not yet at hand.
at least i found a way (ie. a tool called themefur) to apply the opaqua theme (which obviously got lost and not updated or adapted anywhere else) with duality as it was once described in this really helpful mac os x hint.

das ist so beknackt! ich erwarte aber noch beknackteres, wenn ich erst meine eigene goretex seite hab...
update: bruahahahahaha!

i simply love this collection of images...
moreover, i think i became a fan of c.a.t. images, anyway.
and i am desperately looking for that one image with the cat with cymbals. anyone?
are spammers so dodgy or is it really random? tobi got a mail with the subject "raphael, breaking news alert" from anja@yahoo.com... got it? however, i will never know if the message text contains the names hannes, claudia or klaus (because i immediately deleted it).

science fiction?
