speaking of standards: ever heard about conditional comments? gladly, they are jumping on the bandwagon of separating logic from layout... at least this is just a result, not the cause of that big annoyance called browser incompatibilities.

excuse me, but where the hell are you heading for with xhtml 2.0? xlink, xforms and even xframes(!)... not to mention the <line> tag but i think this all is ugly crap.
i start to believe that not only sending but also generally using xhtml as html output is to be considered harmful.

i don't like the articles about weblogs at "texte zur wirtschaft". i consider their history of origins as an act of weblog counter-culture (and i don't like the whole site's catchy staid'n'slick design, anyway).
if user comments belong to weblogs like links belong to the web the texts might appear as an affront to the both, average and frequent web users.
but they are not written for me, anyway.

i am currently testing blog.p3k running as apache-proxied helma application using the embedded jetty webserver.
let's see if this is faster than a tomcat connection via mod_webapp. it definitely needs less memory.
one day helma probably could directly be connected to apache with that ajp13 thang i don't have a clue about, yet.
