the rise and the fall of blogger? "all is not well in the land of pyra" writes evan williams, half of the head of pyra labs. and pyra is the company that gave blogger to us, you and me, the weblog community. just recently blogger was powered by the blogger server fund. but it all did not help to prevent the "group of awesome people" from breaking apart due to lack of financial coverage. "i definitely plan to keep blogger going" is the message i get when i read the essay optimistically. but with a realistic view i expect blogger to be history, sooner or later. "consider it the end of an era", even salon.com writes... anyway, the time has come to make a change, a move in another direction, another effort with another idea. there is hop (sic!).
