i did not know that msn.at is faking search results in such a drastic way, e.g. for the term linux i get two links to windows xp in first place, or for google a pop-up window opens showing yet another msn search form ("why search for another search engine when you just found one?").
now that will make the people trust your engine's results, doesn't it? (found via a comment in futurezone).
acronyms of the day.
emacs, eine and zwei.
"stallman was notorious for writing an editor called emacs, for example, which stood simply for 'editing macros'. another hacker wrote a similar program and called it eine, for 'eine is not emacs'. eine was then almost completely rewritten and then renamed zwei, for 'zwei was eine initially'." nick moffit's $7 history of unix.
"you can't tell others to say 'gnu/linux', but you can decide to call the system 'gnu/linux' yourself and by doing so, you will help us." from the gnu/linux faq.

now that's what i'd call a real posting...
