in the beginning there was tgr and hell was a poppin'. now there's a whole bunch of projects on katsey.org.
they have some very good links, too: naked music, crime boss ("crime comic books of the 1940s and 1950s"), bulbo, planet rapido.

exciting new conception of a weblog: klaus hofegger's kreuzfahrt. finally, somebody's stirring it all up.
wow, i feel like honoured: mike krus of newsisfree.com is using the javascript rss box viewer at his radio weblog!
"scriptographer is a scripting plugin for adobe illustrator. it gives the user the possibility to extend the functionality of Illustrator by the use of the javascript scripting language" (via langreiter). if the plug-in is as good as the website (i just miss the basic interface features, i had to copy the text above from source) this could be an amazing extension.

re-encoutered: morons at heathrow. makollig jezfahted and levdaroum debahzted.

apache and mod_ssl or rather apache-ssl? mod_ssl! unfortunately.
ok, ssl server authentication with certificate works. now let's do client authentication with ssl...
another code snippet:
openssl pkcs12 -export -in server.crt -inkey server.key -out client.crt -name "client certificate"
whohoo! at least one major browser does what it should do and connects to my ssl test webserver using a client certificate. the most undocumented part of this ssl rocket science obviously is the creation of client certificates without using cgi. but i think this example summarises all necessary steps (why is it that i always find such documents afterwards?).
yet another picture blog: catatoniac.
turbulence.org: "the secret lives of numbers when we choose to say there are 'a lot' of gorillas, or '17 gorillas', or 'around 20', we are making a choice based on our interests and abilities. those interests and abilities are systematically expressed in the numbers we choose to send out into the world. the internet provides us with a large and diverse database of the stuff people have sent out into the world, and it naturally includes large numbers of numbers. since 1997, we have collected at intervals a novel set of data on the popularity of numbers: by performing a massive automated internet search on each of the integers from 0 to 1.000.000 and counting the number of pages which contained each, we have obtained a picture of the internet community's numeric interests and inclinations. [...] the resulting information exhibits an extraordinary variety of patterns which reflect and refract our culture, our minds, and our bodies".

...and the say dog website is finally online. looks like a well-calculated campaign on the fast lane of sophisticated media strategies but i think it is simply magnetic!
